Reviews
This is not a highly detailed biography; for that, see G.E. Bentley's "The Stranger from Paradise." But its biographical content is quite extensive and will be perfectly sufficient for most readers with an interest in Blake. More to the point of this book, one of a series on Essential Artists by the Britain's Tate museum, are its superb reproductions of Blake's drawings, paintings, and etchings, for this is a book about Blake the graphic artist. Highly recommended.
