I completely understand why a lot of people were disappointed in this book - it often only has one image per two pages (and lots of blank space around) and no commentary or notes. This is definitely the sort of book you want to flip through in person (and if you can't do that, I do a full flip through on my Youtube channel - link in my Amazon profile). However, I think this is a great book it that I believe it achieved what it set out to do - that is, it's sort of like a gallery exhibition catalogue. This "Star Wars Art" series seems to focus on presenting various Star Wars art as fine art. Which makes this a really great coffee table book, but for the Star Wars fan who wants a ton of images with insight or information then it might not be the book for you.The artworks chosen span the entire franchise, including concept art for unreleased projects (a really highlight of the book!) and considering they only got to chose ~200 images from untold thousands of pieces of concept art, I think they made an outstanding decision for what to include. Also, for those disappointed by the lack of McQaurrie art work should definitely check out: Star Wars Art: Ralph McQuarrie
