I collect pop-up books and this one stands out for it's excitement, choice of illustrations, color design, and content. Included is a 2-page knight in shining armor that you can lift flaps and reveal the layers of armor and clothing. New vocabulary about knights is introduced and the text is quite educational. Another exciting pop-up involves a huge dragon along with text about "Myth and courtly love". The last page is my favorite, and has a two - page pop up with pulls where the opposing knights can fight using their swords and shields. This is an outstanding pop-up book and your child will undoubtedly love it.
