He directed his own advertising agency and has illustrated over 150 books, ranging from preschool picture books to postgraduate texts. This book will show you a way to draw airplanes, aircraft, and spacecraft. You need not start with the first illustration. Choose whichever you wish. When you have decided, follow the step-by-step method shown. Very lightly and carefully, sketch out step number one...Step number two is added right to step number one, also lightly and also very carefully. Step number three is sketched right on top of numbers one and two. Continue this way to the last step. The last step, and the last step only, should be drawn in firmly. Read more

I used this book with my kids when we were reading/studying World War II. They had a lot of fun looking up the individual planes on the computer and figuring out when and how they were used and drawing them. They found the pictures easy to follow and produce good results in their drawings.
